Looking for advice. I have a cz1 57 plate. I got the car 6 months ago. Driving it was great. Steering was heavy but okay. Lately though steering has become really light. You can spin with 1 hand. It's really light at times. Feels dangerous to drive. Had a scare moment last week 60mph on dual carriageway and it felt like driving on ice while going straight. No control on steering. Feels like that at 30mph now. Put it into garage to get brakes checked . They were fine. Asked them to check car over as well. They say everything looks okay . Track rod ends etc. Apart from steering not returning to centre. Advised to take to repair shop. They have advised it might be bearings in steering or problem with box. So to take it back in on Tuesday for them to further examine.

Wotcha and welocme - there are some posted issues about the electric steering motor.

Not sure how a defective bearing would make it feel lighter, more likely notchy, vibration, or a stiff point as you turn the wheel.

Keep us posted as to the feedback
