Got the dreaded central locking issue with 2005 colt. Trying to remove door lock and got stock on removing rod going from key lock bit to the actuator.. Does anyone have any tips? Is there a how to for this?

Thanks

Did you manage to solve your problem because I am experiencing the same issue.

Thanks.

The bar is attached with a clip to the lock mechanism, you have to apply pressure towards the inside of the car to pop it out, the hard bit is reattaching it, because you have to line it up, and pop it back in without seeing, all with feeling!
