Can anybody tell me how to remove the plastic windscreen panel to access drainholes.
I think that they could be blocked.
I,m not losing coolant or windscreen washer bottle water.
Could it be anything other than the from drainholes around the windscreen area?

2011 3-door 1.1 Model

Thanks

It won't be from the windscreen, they're fully bonded to the car. It will either be from a leak in a door seal, or a leak in the heating system. Check to see if it looks the same colour as your coolant, if not it's the former.

Thanks,

It is not the coolant as it has no colour or odour, so it must be the door seal, which is good news I think.

I will get the hose to it tomorrow.

Is this a regular problem, can it be easily fixed or will I need to buy a new rubber seal and fit it?

I'd dry everything fully, then get someone in the car with someone outside spraying it with a hose... should hopefully be able to see where it's coming in. If it is a door seal they're easy to fit and shouldn't be very expensive.

Hi,

Thanks, but it is not the door seal.

I have pulled a few internal plastic parts away and the drivers side fitted carpet. The drivers footwell is filling up from water that is dripping in from the corner (next to the accelerator pedal)

Could it be a blocked drainhole anywhere along the front of the car?

Thanks

Ok, then I would say it's the washer pipe that runs to the rear windscreen. The reservoir is on the drivers side of the engine bay so I assume it comes in through a grommet on the drivers side of the bulkhead.

They don't usually split though, especially in the summer? :scratch

Found it and fixed it, eventually.

When raining, the water running down the gutter area between the windscreen and the A-pillar appeared to be draining out ok, but there was a hairline crack in the manufactured seal above the accelerator pedal.

I have cut a small piece of rubber inner tube and applied some silicone, then pressed it in place .

We had a heavy rainfall yesterday for about 4 hours, and all appears dry.

Thanks for your help

Glad it's all sorted, good job!

So the broken seal was in the bulkhead? Or the windscreen?

It was in the bulkhead, and was not a seal as such, but a hairline gap at a manufactured joint in the bodywork, adjacent to the wheel arch area.

Can you post a picture bro?
My right passenger side, as in my country the steering is on the left is seeped water in my sisters feet when I was washing it, and smells after the rains.
I never seen or felt any water in there, only the moisture smell everytime, it might be coming from the same thing as yours.
