so you wonna remove your centre console but not sure how to well its easier than you think shouldnt take more than 10 minutes to do it. all you should need is a phillips screw driver.
here we go
first part that comes out is the rear bit of it some have an arm rest some dont if you do have an arm rest lift it up to reveal to phillips screw hid inside
Image

once you have removed those two screws pull from the back to the front so it lifts over the handbrake
Image

when that is off you will probably come across years of mess under it and also you will find another two screws easily found
Image

next look into your footwells toward the front of the car and there will be two recesses on the plastic inside is a screw (one each side) remove these
Image

next to get the rest out you need to remove the bit that holds your cd player. firstly remove the ashtray, then pull the lot out and disconect any wiring that will prevent you removing out of the way.
Image

when the cd player is out of the way you need to remove two more screws before we can pull the centre console out once again easy to spot
Image

once the screws are out the front will be free and loose all we need to do now is grip the gear knob tight and twist it to take it off. (i usualy do ths first)
Image

then all you do is lift it out and there we have it one centre console removed.
