Thanks buddy :thumbu .
My hands were to messy to take pics when I did mine lol. It's actually very simple to do, just takes time due to the fiberglass and filler :D. Right to keep it short and simple
- firstly before taking out your headlight, use a whiteboard marker and draw the shape of the eyelid (i did mine from the edges of the bonnet )
- then get a piece of fiberglass matting and cut out the shape , making sure its the exact shape you want it
- wrap your headlight nice and tight with cling film especially the area you want the eyelid..
- now place the piece of fiberglass on top and line it up to your drawing underneath the cling film
- apply the resin and leave to set. Once set cut the cling film around the mould to get it off.
BE CAREFULL, THE MOULD WILL BE VERY BRITTLE !.
- here you must re-fit the headlight and place the mould on top and see if it lines up with your bonnet . If not just apply more fiberglass to the areas you need to add to and trim off excess to get the perfect size and shape.
- IMPORTANT BIT ! Quickly spray the mould with any colour paint. Just the one coat should do.
- when dried , apply layers of fiberglass on top until a desired thinkness is reached.
- now here us why you had to spray the first layer , once the mould has dried, flip it over and you should be able to see the exact shape of the eyelid you made earlyer, now just trim of the edges down to the painted outline .
- now just try them on :D
- the rest is pretty basic . Rough sand, filler , sand , and then spray

:thumbu hope this makes sense lol

I got a few pics with them resting on the headlights on pg1 :D . If weather is okay I will fit them tomorow but will have to wait until Monday for the eyelids as they are in work. Let the paint dry and set :thumbu . Be carefull with that company , my mate baught some for his corsa from them and they didn't fit straight , i had to sort them out for him. Had to trim the hidden edge to fit , the side against the light wouldn't fit square so had to sort that, and had to re-sand and primer them aswel . Be carefully lads, but then again if you got the money to try them out then give it a go :thumbu

Cheers lads :thumbu . A lot of hard work gone into these lol , take your time if you have a go at this and make sure you have a spare set of headlights while you split the fl ones :D

MattyB wrote:

Got the halos off eBay for about 8quid mate . These are 80mm ones and I also have 50mm ones that a was going to put in the indicator bit but it looked tacky haha . Nope I used my head a little with this, I wired them to 2 separate switches that I fixed to the inner top bit of the pull down cubby hole . This way I can have just angels , just the strip lights or both on at the same time without interfeering with the standard light operations . Also it meens I can turn them off if any cops come near by :p :winkthumb

To Ellis

Camera won't take a tidy pic with headlights on aswel due to shear brightness so best I could try is the 1 headlight.you can still see the angels with your eyes tho . BTW I am using h4s

Image

My h4s look Orange in comparison :o
Image

And here is the difference between having the angels on and not . Headlight on the right has halo turned on , headlight on left has just the dip beam on :thumbu

Cheers for that.

What h4's you got mate?, I got some Ring Xenon Max + 100% and they are white, also is that a sidelight I see stil?(do you need it if you have halos now?.), you can change that to led for white light instead of yellow.
