err. ok. hassle or what

did it on car took me 2 hrs.
the bits i was takin off have managed to get into the little cracks so i have yellow around it. ended up adding more blobs as they kept poppin out. think i added about 7-8 over the 2 hrs. it has laquer on it now waiting to dry it looks ok but not as good as expected. plus my hands/fingers are killin me pics up alter when its dry

i found it hard to stick if you have any silicone there, but after u cleared it off it stayed in a treat.

Swish. at the risk of sounding rude; I just did my knob!

Looks ok, defenitly an improvement, happy with it for now.

only took about half hour. ish

looks better in person than here.

First i scraped out the numbers to clean them of smegg, then I put tape in a square around the numbers,
Used a knife to scrape the excess crayon, i found this much quicker and acurate than rubbing.
I didnt have any lacquer stuff, so i substituted with nail varnish. although a bit shiny, i think it does the job.

realy good mod and i had a go myself since my car is a red-black theme anyway =P

went down to WHSmith's just for a packet of crayons lol..

anyways here it is..

I've evn done the cigarrete lighter aswell haha =D

and oh yea i didn't have laquer spray so i used my hairspray instead lol.. duno if it worked but that was the closest thing i could get lol

nice touch on the lighter i didnt think about that one haha think im gonna do my lighter too now :lol:

lol not sure about the hair spray might come of eventually but even if it does its easy to melt some crayons on it again :D

Lol lovin the idear, anyone know where i can get an original gear knob mines a cheesey mono round one. thrying to bring my motor back to its orignial look.

my knob has held up to the heat with the clear nail varish. Seems good. Have had some really hot runs a week or so ago. No melted crayon so far

Did it today, I'm liking the gear knob and lighter but I went one ferther and did the wheel and airbag which I am unsure on... What do you think?
Hopefully you can see from the pics but man what a hot day so lots of glare on the pics...!

Thanks done mine today, reverse got a bit of red in but doesn't matter still looks good.

Applied some laquar over the top of both.
